Welcome to Year 6
The year group is taught by Mr Lee, supported by Mrs Thompson and Mrs Shilton.
Being a pupil in Year 6 comes with a lot of responsibility; the children are expected to be role models and ambassadors for the school. Year 6 pupils are the children the rest of the school look up to, and the students that define our school vision and values. Year 6 requires a lot of hard work, but there are lots of things to look forward to as well. We study fun and exciting topics such as World War 2, Evolution and the Galapogos, and Tudor Warwickshire (featuring Shakespeare); we go on a residential trip; we put on an end-of-year production; and (most importantly) we sit on the benches during assembly!
The children in Year 6 follow the new National Curriculum, which you can read more about on the Department for Education website.
