In today's ever modernising society, it is imperative that the computing and technology curriculum plays a significant role in education. It must provide children with the life-skills that will enable them to embrace and utilise new technology in a socially responsible and safe way in order to flourish in the 21st century world. At St John's we allow children to become digitally literate and competent users of technology. Through computing lessons, we enable children to develop their creativity, resilience, problem-solving, logical thinking and critical thinking skills. We also believe that the use of technology needs to, where necessary, support learning across the entire curriculum.
