Head Teacher's Welcome

St. John’s is an inclusive and nurturing community school, set in extensive grounds close to the heart of Kenilworth. Under the St. John’s umbrella, we offer Nursery, Pre-School and Out of School Club provision, nurturing children from the age of two through a carefully planned and sequenced learning journey.

We are proud of our strong reputation locally and within the Local Authority. Our school is bright, spacious, safe and welcoming. It's a place where children feel valued and happy. We pride ourselves on our strong relationships with families, seeing ourselves as part of a team around each child. The warmth and empathy of our staff give the school its special character; every member of our community, from office to kitchen to classroom, shares our caring ethos and high aspirations for learning, behaviour and emotional well-being.

St. John’s is a growing school, with expansion plans in place to become a two-form entry school by September 2030. Our curriculum is a real strength: creative, exciting and rigorous. We are passionate about ensuring every child reaches their full potential through an enriched curriculum that provides memorable learning experiences and develops essential personal and social skills.

Our values of safe, responsible and ambitious are woven through every aspect of school life, from our restorative approach to behaviour to the way we listen to our children and families. Our pupil leadership groups, including Junior Leaders, Digital Leaders and the Arts Council, play an active role in shaping school life.
