Reading

Reading is a huge part of our every day curriculum and we encourage the children to read as much as they can. Our library always stocked with books from hundreds of different authors and multiple genres so you can always find something that you will enjoy reading! We raise funds for new books in classes and the library by holding Book Fairs and also running a Book Club. 

Children take home reading records and write down how much they are reading at home each week. this year our reading challenge is to travel around the world and collect stickers and certificates along the way. 

Our Book Fair in October raised over a £1000 pounds and we now have £636 to spend on new books in school. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event.
