Year 6

Welcome to Year 6

The year group is taught by Miss Taylor and Mr Satchwell, supported by Mrs Thompson and Mrs Snow.

Being a pupil in Year 6 comes with a lot of responsibility; the children are expected to be role models and ambassadors for the school. Year 6 pupils are the children the rest of the school look up to, and the students that define our school vision and values. Year 6 requires a lot of hard work, but there are lots of things to look forward to as well.  Our engaging and exciting topics this year include: Anglo-Saxons and Vikings, Tudor Warwickshire, World War II and Rivers and Mountains.

The children in Year 6 follow the new National Curriculum, which you can read more about on the Department for Education website.

Find out what we are learning this term in our curriculum letters which can be found in the Curriculum tab https://www.stjohnsprimarykenilworth.co.uk/year-6-2/
